Overview
Manually exporting your transactions is a fast way to get all your financial data ready for your accounting system. This guide will walk you through the simple steps of exporting your transactions as a SIE or CSV file from your Juni account.
How to
Once your transactions are prepared - meaning they have an account code, VAT code, and any receipts have been matched - you can proceed with exporting mentioned transactions.
To easily check which transactions are ready, look for the green status symbols. These mean the transaction has all its accounting values and an attached receipt.
Prepare your transactions for export
Go to Accounting and select the Prepare & export tab
In the Prepare view, select the transactions you want to export
Click Mark as ready to export. The selected transactions will now move to the Ready to export tab
Export your transactions
Navigate to the Ready to export tab
Select the transactions you want to export
Click Export. A new window will appear
Choose your preferred export method
SIE File
CSV File
Choose where you want the file sent:
Download: The file will be downloaded to your computer
Send to email: The file will be sent to the email address registered on your Juni account
Configure your file (SIE file only)
If you're exporting a SIE file, you can set a voucher series and account codes for your currency accounts (also called contra accounts)
When you're ready, click Export with receipts or Export without receipts. Your receipts will be downloaded in a separate folder if you choose to include them
