In the Select identity verification type screen, you are able to choose the verification method for each UBO or the ABO.

If you select the ID document upload option, you will be asked to upload the individual’s certified ID document in the next step.

Otherwise, the individual will be invited to complete their liveness ID verification following the process described in Verifying your identity.

For GDPR purposes, we ask the UBO/ABO whose identity shall be confirmed with the ID document upload for consent to approve Juni processing their personal data.

An email with a consent request will be sent to the UBO/ABO.

Once their consent has been provided, you can upload the respective documents to our platform.

Please note that the copies of the ID documents need to be certified by a legal professional (e.g. lawyer, judge, barrister), qualified accountant, bank, post office official or similar.

Document types that can be used are valid passports, national ID cards or driving licenses issued in the UK or EU. Please note that the copy needs to be a high-quality colour copy and the document needs to be fully visible.
