How do I integrate my Gmail account?

Overview

Uploading receipts in Juni is a simple way to streamline your financial management. You can do it in three different ways: through integrations, Juni AI Email Match, or by manually uploading.

To upload receipts through integration, connect your Gmail account to Juni. Juni can then automatically match payment receipts from Facebook Ads, Shopify, Klaviyo, and TikTok with the corresponding Juni transactions - saving time and effort.

Note: You can connect multiple Gmail accounts to your Juni account if needed.


How to integrate your Gmail account

  1. Log in to your Juni account

  2. Click Integrations in the left-hand menu

  3. Click Discover and Connect to see a list of all available integrations

  4. Choose Gmail from the list of popular integrations or search for it. Then, click Integrate Now

  5. A new window will open. Follow the instructions to connect using your Gmail credentials, whether it's a billing email (billing@yourcompany.com) or your own business email (john.doe@yourcompany.com)

Note: The email address does not need to be a user in your Juni account.

What data does Juni retrieve from Gmail?

When connected to a Gmail account, Juni will ask Google to share the following data with us:

Gmail email metadata, including recipient(s) name and email address, sender(s) name and email address, time sent and received, email subject etc.

Does Juni store my emails?

No, we discard all data received through the Gmail integration except for the data directly related to those receipts that we’re able to match to transactions.

How do I revoke access?

If you no longer wish to provide us access to the above-described information, you can indicate that you wish to disable the connection on the Juni platform. In such a case, we'll erase any data related to your Gmail Account and no longer collect any of this information.
