SE IBAN (All SEK accounts):

Juni offers SE IBAN to deliver a more seamless customer experience for our customers using SEK accounts, allowing access to money faster with RIX-RTGS. Use the SE IBANs to receive funds from banks like SEB, Handelsbanken and Swedbank, and platforms like Shopify and Stripe, directly into your Juni account.

How do I register bank payments to a Swedish IBAN?

To register a payment to an IBAN, some banks require you to initiate it via the international payments page. That’s because the international payments format is the only option that allows the user to register an IBAN.

Note that SE IBANs are routed as local payments, not as international payments. Once the payment has been released, it is sent and handled via Swedish rails (RIX-RTGS) and is therefore local from a Swedish payment infrastructure perspective.

What happens if a payment to a SE IBAN fails?

If you are experiencing difficulties sending funds to your SE IBAN account, it's possible the sending bank/payment provider has outdated information regarding our bank details. To resolve this, you will need to contact the sending bank/payment provider's customer support.

Please follow these steps:

  1. Contact the sending bank/payment provider you are sending from. Tell them about the transfer issue. If you are receiving error messages such as 'Invalid IBAN' or 'BIC mismatch', please mention that.

  2. Provide them with the following information:

    1. The Juni SE IBAN and BIC you were transferring to.

  3. Ask them to update their IBAN registry with the following information:

    1. BIC: JUNTSEG2

    2. National Bank Code: 211

  4. Reach out to Juni Customer Support and let us know! We will also try to work with the sending bank/payment provider to resolve the issue.

I’m a Swedish customer that has both a SE IBAN and a DK IBAN. What happens if I transfer money using my DK IBAN?

You can use your DK IBAN details, and the funds will still land in your account, though it may take longer than if you were to use your SE IBAN details.

What are the limitations?

  • SE IBAN can only receive SEK funds

  • To receive any other currency such as USD or GBP funds into the same SEK account, please use your DK IBAN

Put simply, for the same SEK account, there are two different IBANs:

  • SE IBAN - RIX-RTGS payments, can receive SEK funds ONLY

  • DK IBAN - SEPA payments

DE IBAN (All German-registered businesses):

Juni offers DE IBAN to deliver a more seamless customer experience for our German customers (German-registered businesses), allowing access to money faster with SEPA Instant.

Unlike our DK IBANs – which only support SEPA – DE IBAN’s accept SEPA Instant payments, meaning you can transfer Euro funds into your Juni EUR accounts in minutes. No need to wait for hours or days for your funds to land.
