DE IBAN (All German accounts):

Juni offers DE IBAN to deliver a more seamless and frictionless customer experience for our German customers (German-registered businesses), allowing access to money faster with SEPA Instant.

Unlike DK IBANs – which only support SEPA – DE IBAN’s accept SEPA Instant payments, meaning you can transfer Euro funds into your Juni EUR accounts in minutes. No more waiting for hours or days for your funds to land.

What happens if I transfer money using my DK IBAN?

We haven't gotten rid of your DK IBAN, so you can still use your DK IBAN details as used to, and the funds will still land in your account, though they will take longer than if you were to use your new DE IBAN details.

What are the limitations?

  • DE IBAN can only receive Euro funds

  • To receive any other currency such as USD or GBP funds into the same EUR account, please use your LU IBAN

Put simply, same EURO account, three different IBANs:

  • DE IBAN - SEPA Instant payments, can receive Euro funds ONLY

  • LU IBAN - SEPA Instant payments

  • DK IBAN - SEPA payments

LU IBAN (Other European accounts):

We've updated the default IBAN for all European customers with a EURO account from a DK IBAN to a LU IBAN.

Why did we make these changes and how does that benefit me?

To deliver a more seamless and frictionless customer experience, allowing you access to your money faster with SEPA Instant.

Unlike DK IBAN’s which only support SEPA, LU IBAN’s accept SEPA Instant payments, meaning you can transfer funds into your Juni EUR accounts in minutes. No more waiting for hours or days for your funds to land.
